Renault sponsors the summer’s most glamorous event: the Venice International Film Festival

A Partner of the Venice International Film Festival for 3 years, Renault will take advantage of its presence to feature the new Renault  Talisman from August 31 to September 10, 2016.

“We decided to involve Renault with the Venice Film Festival in 2014. A loyal venue for the who’s who, the festival has hosted the greatest actors, directors, screenwriters and producers every year since 1932” says Claude Hugot, Head of Public Relations for the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

A total of 33 Renault Talisman and 7 Espace models will transport VIPs and officials at the 73rd Venice Film Festival directed by Alberto Barbera. A new Scénic 4 will also benefit from exposure at the promenade of the Lido.

Renault’s history has been intimately linked with that of cinema since the company’s founding in France in 1895. At that time, Renault’s plants backed up to the very first film studios in Billancourt on the outskirts of Paris. Since then, Renault has committed to participate in the world’s leading film festivals, including Cannes, Deauville, Lyon, Angoulême, Cabourg and Seville. In addition, every year Groupe Renault provides vehicles to television and film productions from a special fleet of 40 vehicles.
