The Renault EZ-GO, EZ-PRO and EZ-ULTIMO trio of concept cars wins award in CAR STYLING Magazine

January 29, 2019

Boulogne-Billancourt (France), January 29, 2019 – CAR STYLING, the internationally-renowned automotive design magazine, awarded the “Golden Marker Awards 2018-2019” prize in the Concept Car category to the Renault EZ-PRO, EZ-GO and EZ-ULTIMO trio of concept cars. This trio of concept cars illustrates the Renault brand’s vision of the future of urban mobility -- shared, electric and autonomous.

“We are very proud of this prize awarded to our EZ trio of concept cars. This award recognizes our vision of the urban mobility of tomorrow as illustrated by the three concept-cars Renault EZ-GO, EZ-PRO and EZ-ULTIMO. It encourages our Design teams to continue to express their passion and creativity, from the sportscar to the autonomous car,” explained Laurens van den Acker, Senior Vice President of Corporate Design, Groupe Renault.

CAR STYLING magazine highlights that the EZ concept cars combine functional and emotional approaches to the shared urban mobility of the future. Each of the three concepts shows a strong personality and meets a category of needs specific to the urban mobility of the future: Renault EZ-GO for shared urban mobility as an alternative to public transport, Renault EZ-PRO for automated last-mile delivery and EZ-ULTIMO for a premium urban mobility accessible to all.

Each of these three concepts also places service quality at the heart of its design. This service quality will be a key differentiating element of the urban robot-vehicles that will gradually infiltrate future “smart cities”.
